Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi [Review]

I would say this movie as ”Ride of a Lifetime“.That is the feeling that i got after watching this movie 2 times.1st time I watched it an ordinary theatre where majority of the viewers were young bllodds from Kerala.2nd time I watched it from INOX Multiplex,Central,J.P Nagar.Watching this movie at these two conditions made me enjoy this movie to the core.In first case the audience was cheering up for everything and so i missed most of the dialogues. In latter show I enjoyed this movie more as audience was little less in number and sound effects were too good.In my opinion this movie can be enjoyed most when you are in a silent surroundings.

PosterNow this movie is all about two friends who rides up on their bullet from Kerala to Nagaland, the far eastern state of India. In between director Samir Thahir tells the whole past of protaganist Kasim played by Dulquer Salman. The movie has all the basic elements like Love,Politics,Friendship and Family relations.Dulquer has always been the highlight of this movie but Sunny Wayn,Surja Bala, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Ena Saha also deserves an applause. The plus points of this movie is the visual treat, good script and minimalistic dialogue. The cons of this movie is that the climax was too softy and there was no great quotes by protagonist as i expected.

Overall i will give this movie 8/10.A must watch for all the souls which seeks travelling. The message from this movie is always been the message told by the protagonist ‘My Fate My Decision‘.

Unsung Heroes Of India

Here through this post I wanna bring two respectable Indian to the all of you. They have contributed well to the society but most of us don’t know them.I read about of them from different sources and once i finished reading i really felt that they are the real “Superheroes“.In a country like India often these guys are left behind as all people here care about is Cricket/Bollywood and Filthy politics. These two has dedicated their life for  social causes and has done so much that i feel like everyone in this world should respect them.

Paalam Kalyanasundaram

P.Kalyanasundaram is a social worker from TamilNadu in India, working for orphans. He has donated his pension for this cause. Kalyanasundaram has worked in the field of social services for more than 45 years.Mr.Kalayanasundaram worked as a Librarian for 30 years. Every month in his 30 year experience(service), he donated his entire salary to help the needy. He worked as a server in a hotel to meet his needs. He donated even his pension amount of about ten lakh rupees to the needy. He is the first person in the world to spend the entire earnings for a social cause. He received a sum of Rs 30 crores as part of this award which he distributed entirely for the needy as usual.Moved by his passion to help others, Super Star Rajinikanth adopted him as his father. He still stays as a bachelor and dedicated his entire life for serving the society. He is a gold medalist in library science, and has completed his MA in literature and history. Still i wonder why there is no Wiki page about him.
The Union Government has acclaimed him as `The Best Librarian in India‘. He has also been chosen as `one of the top ten librarians of the world‘. The International Biographical centre, Cambridge, has honoured him as `one of the noblest of the world‘, while the United Nations Organisation adjudged him as one of the Outstanding People of the 20th Century’. An American organisation has also selected him as the `Man of the Millennium’.

Narayanan Krishnan

Narayanan Krishnan was a bright, young, award-winning chef with a five-star hotel group, short-listed for an elite job in Switzerland. But a quick family visit home before heading to Europe changed everything. After witnessing a distressing incident in 2002, he quit his job and began feeding the homeless and mentally disabled in his hometown. He said, “I saw a very old man, literally eating his own human waste out of hunger. I went to the nearby hotel and asked them what was available. They had idli, which I bought and gave to the old man. Believe me, I had never seen a person eating so fast, ever. As he ate the food, his eyes were filled with tears. Those were the tears of happiness.

“That spark and that inspiration is a driving force still inside me as a flame — to serve all the mentally ill destitutes and people who cannot take care of themselves,” Krishnan said. Krishnan founded his nonprofit Akshaya Trust in 2003. Now 29, he has served more than 1.2 million meals — breakfast, lunch and dinner — to India’s homeless and destitute, mostly elderly people abandoned by their families and often abused. He serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to 425 indigent and elderly people in Madurai. He also provides haircuts and shaves to give extra dignity to those he serves. He was selected as one of the Top 10 in “CNN heroes 2010

Manjadikuru – Lucky Red Seeds Review

Manjadikuru is a Malayalam movie released in 2012.The movie is written and directed by Anjali Menon. It is a story of homecoming from late 1970s, when 10-year-old Vicky arrives at his grandparents home in rural Kerala to attend his grandfather’s funeral. The disjointed family gathers together for the sixteen day long funeral period. During this period, Vicky discovers more about himself, his family and culture than he had expected to. The journey is narrated through the memories of an adult Vicky who returns to the same house to recount the experience. After some years the boy returns as a young man (Prithviraj), to visit old grounds, and finds the ‘Lucky red seeds’ scattered away.

As i don’t have enough time to explain the plot of this film.I copied it from Wikipedia. Now I am gonna tell you my view about this film.First of all this is not like ordinary commercial movie. The story told here happens in 1970’s so don’t expect modernism and funky music. This movie took me way back into my childhood days.It was totally a different world at that time. There was no modernism, political and economic crisis as of now in India .As per me at that time every one used to enjoy their life.No one used to think about globalization and cosmopolitan life styles as what exist now. This is the sole reason why i decided to write a post about this movie.I want my childhood days back where i used to stay in a joint family and I used to play with kids in paddy fields that used to lush green during summer time also.During monsoon we also used to go to near by pond to catch some small fishes and after that we will put them in small Horlicks/Boost bottles. These things are also portrayed in this movie by writer. After watching all these all i wished was to get my childhood days back.

What has happened so far in 2013

I really did had a slight hope that world will end in 2012.But it didn’t happen 😦

So here comes 2013.Year started I had so many resolutions piled up to this yer.But as usual nothing really worked out.As every other man 1st priority was becoming fit as i have been gaining weight since i started working.Once i started working,i haven’t played or did exercises. Now all i do is stare at dual monitors, typing and clicking mouse buttons.I too have become like a typical IT employee who spends around 9 Hrs in office. Some many things were bugging my head especially the future of my career and the job.I was getting really tensed with the office work.so i started looking for a change in job,and in Feb 1st week it happened.I got job in a new firm – NTT Data as Technical executive. Now i was happy to put down my resignation nd start serving the notice period. My team mates were sad to hear all these. That 2 months of notice period went away really fast.

In the mean time I lost interested in reading.Almost forgot that it was my 2nd priority resolution this year.If things are going like this,i will living like a life with no interested.Anyways that quest for knowledge was satisfied by reading blogs and tweets from some of my fav tweeps. Started watching so many movie genres and television series.Remarkably got addicted to Dexter.Stopped blogging but continued micro blogging with interest. In between read some books that too read some starting pages. Didn’t bought any new gadgets as i was almost satisfied with what i have.So basically what i did was met so many new person in new firm, read something, listened to some new songs, watched some movies  and series and what i want now is good thoughts and be left alone in my life  🙂
